Michael A. Dively, a Republican, was born in 1938 in Cleveland, Ohio. He received a B.A. in American history and literature from Williams College, Williamston, Mass. He graduated from the University of Michigan Law School in 1964. He practiced law in Traverse City, Mich. before entering public service. He served as director of the Michigan Teenage Republicans in 1968-69. During his political career, he took an actice role in legislative matters regarding youth. He was the sponsor and primary aut...
